Woodland learning is a process of learning through doing.
‘It recognises the organic connection between the fingers, the senses and the mind.’
Robert Hart (Forest Gardening)

Making something such as a spoon, connects us not only with our hands and body, but also brings the mind into focus with the object we are crafting. A mentally relaxing activity, concentrating on the moment. An experience not unlike meditation.
To compliment this relaxing experience, the courses take place in the open coppice, surrounded by the sounds and scents of the woodland.
